Tube Archivist is a self-hosted YouTube media server. You subscribe to channels and playlists, it downloads the videos and metadata with yt-dlp, and gives you a searchable library with a player, subtitles, comments and watch progress. It keeps videos watchable even if they disappear online.
Great for: People who want a permanent, searchable copy of the channels and lectures they care about.
Your AI helps you choose, based on what you need, and sets it up with you in plain words.
Examples of what people ask their AI to do with Tube Archivist. Start from one, or just tell your AI and it will ask what you'd like.
